"Apabila barah yang ibu kami hadapi semakin merebak, ia menjejaskan pernafasannya hingga ibu memerlukan bantuan oxygen. Pergerakan yang lazim seperti berjalan juga menyebabkan dia sukar untuk bernafas. Kami meminta bantuan love@care dan Nurse Khim menghantar portable oxygen dengan segera. Bukan itu sahaja, dia juga meminjamkan kami kerusi roda apabila mendapat tahu yang kami tiada alat sebegitu untuk ibu kami.
Nurse Khim juga membantu kami mendapatkan katil hospital dan alat oxygen untuk kegunaan rumah. Malah, dia juga mendapatkan kerusi commode dan tongkat kerana tahu itu adalah keperluan untuk ibu kami. Ini menunjukkan inisiatif Nurse Khim kerana kami tidak teringat yang kami perlu alat-alat tersebut, seperti kerusi commode. Bantuan yang dia dapatkan serta pesanan yang dia hulurkan juga mempamerkan pengalamannya yang banyak dalam penjagaan pesakit. Ibu kami telah meninggal dunia namun kami bersyukur kerana pada waktu kami memerlukan, Nurse Khim telah kehadapan untuk menghulurkan bantuan dalam penjagaan ibu kami. Terima Kasih atas semua pertolongan yang diberikan." |

We were very fortunate to meet Love@care (Sister Khim) during our difficult times.
On 8 August 2017 at around 11am, our doctor informed that we need to rent oxygen machine for my dad who is critically ill once he is discharged from SGH at 1.30pm . On our first encounter, she asked about the patient's background and got to know we are on very tight financial. She has offered to help us with no extra and hidden cost. Even though, our doctor highlighted that my dad may not make it to home, we still went ahead to rent the oxygen machines for one month. During that week, she has given 100 % support especially it was National Day eve. It is saddening that our beloved father passed away peacefully on 11 August 2017. Sister Khim is very kind, caring, compassionate and understanding with all our last minutes need. Despite such a short time frame, she still try her very best to render all the help we need. Dear Miss Khim,
I wanted to thank you for helping us so much, perfect funeral for my step-father, Ng. From meeting you for the first time, bring Ng home from the hospital. When you reach our house saw the bed is not suitable for Ng, you immediately help to prepare a bed for Ng. You were superb, once you got time will visit us and buy lunch/dinner for us because you know My mom was busy and I am pregnant doctor ask me to rest more . On 2nd days, visit us and found out my mom don't how to help Ng do injection immediately help us and inform the nurse in-charge. On 3rd days doctor come visit Ng and asking him return back to hospital for better care. My mom spending the last 2 days in a hospital with Ng until he pass away in peace. You know that we having finance problems and help us find the cheapest funeral ceremony and buffet to settle. Please convey my thanks to your staff. A very beautiful day. Other than delivering the oxygen equipment, you still went the extra mile to counsel and console me when you realised my hubby’s condition. You even went to the extent by guiding me how to cope if his condition worsened. Thank you very much for the extra help you have given to me when my hubby passed on. I am very grateful and appreciative the time you spend with me in preparation of my hubby’s wake till the funeral. 非常感谢贵公司的林丽琴小姐! 我因为先生急性肺炎住院, 出院之前通过中央医院介绍爱与关怀公司的林小姐. 经过交流发现林小姐十分地细心, 专业, 而且充满爱心! 打完电话之后, 半小时产品就送到家中. 起初我以为所有供货商都一样, 产品送到家中, 指导使用产品就完毕了. 但是林小姐特意留下来, 她跟我说, “请不要嫌我啰嗦, 我需要教会你一些东西.” 林小姐耐心地教会了我许多病人回家以后的护理, 食疗和平时锻炼肺部肌肉的练习. 我一五一十地记了下来. 十分记得林小姐的一句话: “你的先生要康复,你需要给他足够的爱与关怀, 他才能有机会好起来.” 我很爱我的先生, 所以尽量地 配合食谱给他一切能够吃,一点喜欢吃的事物, 以给予他身体康复的能量. 并一直鼓励他锻炼, 陪他到楼下走,散心. 虽然肺炎是医疗界的第二杀手, 但是我的先生成功的逃过肺炎的追杀, 一个月之后就康复了. 谨此感谢林小姐的爱心, 耐心和鼓励让我的先生重拾健康! 亦希望以此与其他康复中的人共勉! 来自中国的病人家属 瑞介中 |

She also went the extra mile by getting me a wheelchair that’s much more comfortable than my existing one. It seems that she provides unconditional care for all her patients.”

“We were very fortunate to know Nurse Khim in June 2010, when our late mother was critically ill and hospitalised. Doctors’ prognosis of her medical condition was grim and that she would not pull through. However, it is God’s will coupled with her strong fighting spirit that she pulled through. When her condition stabilised, she was discharged for home but needed to be on tube-feeding.
Nurse Khim helped bring our mother home. She is a kind, caring, compassionate, dedicated and experienced nurse. Through her care and guidance, my mother gradually recovered and eventually she was taken off tube-feeding and could eat soft blended food. Our mother lived for another 21 months and passed away peacefully on 20 March 2013. Those 21 months were a bonus to us. We learned to be more expressive in our love for her. Even though there were ups & downs in her health, we could tell that she was happy. We are very grateful to have met a good friend and counselor like Nurse Khim who is always ready to lend a helping hand and giving her best care to her patients. All of us, the family of the late Madam Chew Kah Eng, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her. |

I have used Medical Evacuation service to send my critically ill mum back to Indonesia via ferry. Honestly speaking from the bottom of my heart, our whole family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Khim, who have been assisting us throughout the journey. She is the most passionate, caring & most importantly, experience-rich nurse i have ever seen.
It wasn't an easy task as the whole ferry journey itself took about six hours to reach my hometown in a tiny island. Not to mention the sea waves that makes us nausea and giddy. Ms Khim took Care of my Mum whole-heartedly and advised us on what were the best arrangement to be made after we reached our hometown as my dad, my sis and I were a little lost seeing my mum fighting with all her might to breathe. She was a brave-last-stage cancer patient who couldn't do much except laying motionless. I believed my mum received the most excellent card in her very last ferry journey back home. in the ferry, Ms. Khim is not only our medical provider, but she is also our adviser and friend. the concern, love and her expertise will be forever remembered in our hearts.
